We study the genetics and epidemiology of Alzheimer’s disease and healthy aging, with a strong focus on risk and resilience, early biomarkers, and longitudinal cohorts. Our team works at the interface of population genetics and translational neurology: from large-scale discovery (EADB, BELNEU, the 1,000 Healthy Elderly study) to biomarker development using blood, CSF, and even tear fluid, powered by short- and long-read sequencing and multi-omics.
What you’ll find here: a collaborative, down-to-earth group; close ties to clinicians and core facilities; access to deeply phenotyped cohorts and a modern biobank; and room to grow—scientifically and professionally. We welcome applicants with backgrounds in human genetics, (bio)statistics, computational biology, molecular biology, or related fields who are curious, rigorous, and team-oriented.
